Innovation Crossroads puts charge in battery startup, accelerating path from lab to market

EarthEn was named among eight finalists for the Deep Tech Climate Innovation Challenge, presented by the Cadence Foundation by Cadence Design Systems. Manas Pathak, a Cohort 2023 fellow, will deliver his company pitch during an event on Jan. 10 in Las Vegas, Nevada, as part of the Consumer Electronics Show. The winner will be announced Jan. 11.

Also among CES presenters are Cohort 2022's Rajan Kumar with Ateios Systems and Cohort 2018's Don DeRosa with Eonix. Both will present their technologies from the Department of Energy's booth in the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Nth Cycle (Cohort 2018) has closed $37 million in Series B and an additional $7 million in nondilutive financing, led by VoLo Earth Ventures, MassMutual through the MM Catalyst Fund I, Caterpillar Venture Capital, and Equinor Ventures. Nth Cycle recently received two DOE awards including $3 million from the Advanced Materials and Manufacturing Technologies Office.
