Forest Creek Village

On Oak Ridge’s west side, construction has begun on the first new homes in Forest Creek Village. Forest Creek Village backs up to the Oak Ridge Country Club golf course and offers 90 lots that are build-to-suit. Homes begin in the $350Ks.


Groves Park Commons

Close to the center of the city, Goodall Homes, a Berkshire Hathaway company, continues its build in Groves Park Commons. Thirty homes & townhomes are expected to be constructed within the next couple of years. Planned amenities include a pocket park and a pavilion. Groves Park Commons offers easy access to all Oak Ridge has to offer including dining and shopping in historic Jackson Square. Prices begin in the mid-$200Ks.


Harbour Pointe/Harbour Cove

On the east side of town, construction is underway on 63 single-family homes in Harbour Pointe/Harbour Cove, a DR Horton development, with plans for more than 200 homes. Located across Edgemoor Road is Haw Ridge Park, a 780-acre park on a scenic peninsula along the Clinch River. With more than 30 miles of single-track and dirt trails, Haw Ridge is known for mountain bike trails, which are also perfect for hikers, trail runners, and equestrians. Homes start in the $250Ks.


The Preserve

Smithbilt Homes continues with construction of homes in The Preserve. This west Oak Ridge community will soon have a marina ship’s store, as well as a TA 12-hole “short course” golf course. The master plan includes 3,000 homes over next 10 years with 425 current rooftops. The Preserve is comprised of seven different neighborhoods. Prices range from $185K to over $400K.

Oak Ridge offers 19 different apartment communities across a wide range of budget options.

 

Main Street Lofts

A seond phase of construction is underway on Main Street Lofts, a $26.5M, 225-unit apartment complex in the center of the city across the street from the $100 million Main Street retail redevelopment.
